PHYSICIAN:
Step 1: Physician registers
Step 2: Physician registers patient. All patients registered by the physician will be placed on their physician list.
Step 3: Physician enters lab results under the patient name.
Step 4: Patient logs on using username and password to review lab results entered by the physician.
Step 5: Patient can request results to be entered by physician.
PATIENT:
Step 1: Your physician registers you using your name, date of birth and email. You receive a username and password
Step 2: Your physician sends you results of your tests or x-rays using the site. When the result arrives, you can view it privately. You can let your physician know you received it by indicating it was viewed.
Step 3: If you wish for a result to be sent by your physician, you can request the information to be sent. Your physician will see your request and send the information you wish to review.
All information is private, password protected. This information can only be viewed by the physician and the patient. All username and password information should not be shared. All information is encrypted. All email addresses are private and neither the patients or physicians will receive unsolicited email. Chart-MD is Hipaa compliant.
